From May 1st, the helpline number 142 against violence is active in Switzerland.
The service is dedicated to people who are victims of violence, those in vulnerable situations, or anyone in need of protection and support.
By dialing 142, it is possible to receive counseling, guidance, and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The number is also available for family members, friends, and anyone close to someone who wishes to offer help.
⚠️ 142 is not an emergency number. It does not provide call geolocation and does not allow the direct dispatch of emergency response services.
